I'm Carly! I am a Charleston-based photographer that enjoys capturing people living their lives full of love - whether it is celebrating your engagement, partying at your wedding reception, or just taking some adorable photos with your partner, I love seeing all of the special moments through a lens. I love taking on new challenges and learning new skills behind the camera.

Don't Quit your day dream

I was a high school English teacher for six years, but left the classroom in 2023 to pursue my passion and become a full-time wedding photographer. I am so excited to be following my dreams, and there are definitely some similarities between teaching and photography - it still allows me to connect with people in meaningful ways, express my creativity, and tell stories through a different medium.

I absolutely adore my wonderful husband, and we live in Mount Pleasant with our two sweet cats, Zelda and Kit Harrington. We are THRILLED to be welcoming our first baby into the world this spring! I enjoy being on the water, performing/practicing aerial silks, and spending time with the people who are most important to me. I am the photographer for Charleston's The Rocky Horror Picture Show shadow cast, have an unhealthy obsession with Halloween, am a bit of a Disney freak, and I love a good cup of tea (or glass of wine).
