Mr. & Mrs. Hydrick
Lauren and Tripp tied the knot this weekend and it was such a gorgeous day! There were so many sweet moments throughout the day that were an honor to capture. The weather was just perfect, the ceremony was beautiful, and the party was bumpin'! Allow me to take you through this stunning wedding!
boho bridal style
Lauren and Tripp went with a neutral, boho style for their wedding and it was picture perfect. With the bridesmaids in taupe and the men in linen suits, it was the perfect combination of trendy bohemian elements and traditional Southern style.
Dreamy golden hour
With their ceremony a little later in the afternoon, we were able to whisk away right after they said "I do" to capture some incredible golden hour photos. It was such a perfect way for them to be able to enjoy some alone time right after the big moment, and it resulted in some amazing shots.
getaway car
Their sendoff was super fun! After an intimate last dance, the new Mr. & Mrs. exited the building through a tunnel of bubbles and lights, ending up in the coolest getaway car chauffeured by one of their friends!
This was truly a day full of the sweetest moments and little details. Lauren and Tripp first said "I love you" right there at Gold Bug Island, so it was only natural that they get hitched in the same spot. They did an intimate first look and read letters to each other surrounded by the glistening water, and then got a rousing set of "congratulations" from boats passing by!
When their bridal party entered the reception, everyone threw mini-bottles to the wedding guests, which was a great way to make sure the party got started!
After their first dance and father-daughter dance, Lauren's brother surprised her with a special dance with him. There wasn't a dry eye in the house, mine included!
The Hydricks know how to PARTY, and kept it going on the dance floor all night. There were fiber optic wands, an impromptu game of limbo, and the even the bride rapping to her groom at one point. It was definitely a celebration of love, and the happy couple shared a sweet last dance alone to Billie Eilish's "when the party's over" while their guests lined up for their sendoff.
Lawfully wedded
The wedding ceremony is so unique to each couple, and it's so important that you make it your own! Lauren and Tripp's ceremony was officiated by Tripp's mother, and after Lauren walked down the aisle with her stepdad, she was joined by her mom at the front. All of their pre-ceremony music was instrumental versions of different Fleetwood Mac songs, which was AWESOME and I wish I had done that for my wedding! They said their vows in front of a custom-made floral and palm arch, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect.
